The damper flap is an optional addition, you do NOT need it for voice or vocal recording. How does that work?

The principle of the PROVOICER is to absorb as much sound as possible already at the inside. As a result, very little sound escapes and therefore very little unwanted room reverberation can reflect back onto your microphone. This even works in very ambient bathrooms.
The reason for this is the high-quality absorber foam used. The flap is used solely to shield you, if desired, a little more against noise from or to the outside (e.g. during singing exercises). It is definitely not needed for recordings, room reverberations are sufficiently eliminated even without a flap.
The advantage: without the flap, the PROVOICER is much more airy than other solutions.
